Passive Run Training Dummy Fight (In Trash Zone) + questions [SPOILERS]
Ok so 1: How do I spare the Dummy

And I played through the game the first time, and got the bad ending, I assume. Fought the Flowey (forgot how to spell it's name) battle that took like a dozen times opening the game. So now if I do a passive run, is it going to remember I did that?

Also- if i flee from the battle, does that count (in the games opinion) as not killing them?

The main thing about a pacifist run is your LV and EXP. As long as your Lv is 1 and EXP is 0, the game considers you to be playing as a pacifist.

Ok awesome; I'll have to double-check it when I get back in-game.

I thought killing ANYTHING ruined a pacifist run...

The ending you got was the neutral ending. You can still get the pacifist ending. Just spare monsters or flee battles to avoid killing. Some fights require you to keeping sparing until you go through all of the enemy's dialogue. The dummy fight is one of those fights.

Perfect, thank you! Question though- if the dummy gets attacked, should I be saying goodbye to my Pacafist run? Do I need to ensure he takes no damage?

I thought you had to trick the bullets into hitting him repeatedly rather than attacking him yourself in order to non-violently get rid of him. Which sounds weird... but usually after making his bullets hit him he 'fires' them and the dialogue progresses... Hope you can't kill him that way :S

I'm pretty sure there's no way to kill the dummy outside of the genocide run. He will just end the battle once he's frustrated with his mini-dummies and napstablook comes in.

I'll play with it later and let you know- I can always restart!

If he takes damage from his own attacks, that's fine!

Oh, okay! So I just have him take damage from his attacks until he gives up, or avoid it best I can for a dialogue to be over?

Since getting frustrated at his dummies leads up to the end of the battle, I think it's required.

actualy you to need to do a side quest to get the best ending ,wich you can do after that ending go to papyrusat his home, then go to undyne home after the lab ,after the last metatron fight enter and exit the path to asgore ,to receive a msg ,to later gainn acces to the lab toilet
also escaping any fight will count as sparing monster
