Should I say I like anime? [MINOR SPOILERS]

It's during the Thing that happens after you deliver the letter. If I decline to be a weeb, will I get bad end? Will they die of a broken heart, breaking my perfect pacifist run? Please help me with this urgent matter.

It won't break the run. I'm not sure if it changes anything at all.
She's probably going to find out the truth sooner or later, so might as well be honest...

i think it changes a bit of toriel's dialogue in the very end.
tell her anime's real and toriel will, after having talked with undyne about history, idly wonder if maybe you told undyne some stuff that wasn't entirely true.

it's completely harmless. it's up to you whether you'd like to break her heart with the truth or not

Toriel in the ending...When I was playing, I was streaming it, and when I pulled up the call menu for Toriel, told me to choose all the options, which meant calling her mom AND flirting, and told me to flirt multiple times. Not only did she call me out on that during the call, SHE TELLS SANS AT THE END! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Even my friend went "OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?!"

choosing either option alone still seems to make the characters judge you a little. i only called her mom and she joked with sans about it, and he said something like "that's not the best way to get to know people"

Considering what happens during the genocide route, I'm not actually sure if anime is real or not in this setting.

Anyway, speaking of the letter... Here's a small easter egg: you can toss it away, and then go back to Undyne to get a replacement and some extra dialogue. The second letter is called Undyne Letter EX, and if you try to drop it: (The letter is too powerful to throw away.) (It gets the better of you.)
