it should probably be noted here if you want to fully reset your game...and get rid of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass hat flower( I KILLED HIS AS AT THE VERY END AND NOW HE HAUNTS MY ENDING) you need to reset your variables in the configuration settings file thats in the same place. set everything to 0

if you want to fully reset everything then just deleting everything in the folder should suffice?

For anyone who needs it:

On mac, the folder is ~/Library/Application Support/com.tobyfox.undertale/

If you are at the part where you get a black screen, deleting the save in Appdata/Local/UNDERTALE doesn't reset it. There's gotta be something else.

I was going to see what happened if I dodged flowey's friendship pellets at the start. Buuuuut flowey used toriel's face. Needless to say, it did NOT appear on my next game.

So I did this but I am still where I was on this laptop. I played the whole genocide run ***SPOILER ALERT*** until I got to sans and then I wanted to transfer over back to my laptop now that it is not broken but I copied the whole folder onto this comp but it did nothing. What do I do?

There is a way to delete everything, but it's kinda complicated, here are the three steps;
1. Delete the entire UNDERTALE folder inside appdata
2. Uninstall the game at steam, and remove the steam cloud data.
3. Activate the run command ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run_command ) type in regedit, go to hkey_current_user / software / Game Maker and delete it.

I made those steps and didn't find Game Maker in the software folder. Now I'm really unsecure. Is there a new path or something else?
