I know if you put the Dog Residue under the door, you get two Dog Residues back. That might have something to do with it?

I put a Hot Dog that I got from Sans hotdog stand under the door and got a Hush Puppy. The Hush Puppy heals more HP and it said something about disabling magic attacks or something. I never used it.

Presumably there's a dog behind the door, as if you push a Hot Cat you hear growling and get nothing.

It works when used during the right enemy. Well, the healing always works. The second bit requires the proper encounter.
