But I'm not aware of any others that don't play the way they do in the soundtrack at least once.
Not sure why.
:X
You might want to explain, as that didn't make any sense at all.
My bad, I'm not so sure then.
I also do not hear any difference with Death by Glamour, either.
My guess is that for those songs, they were originally composed at the soundtrack speed but Toby decided that the tone he wanted in the game was better served by changing the speed a bit. For Mettaton I guess slowing it down made it more dramatic instead of actiony, and for Snowy more pensive. Not sure why he changed Toriel.
That's one of the ones I listed, yes. The true lab version of Dogsong is also very slowed down, and I presume the "music" during the bulk of the fight with the dog is just something slowed down until it's unrecognizable (possibly Dogsong).
It's very minor, around 2 seconds slower. Gotta have good ears to notice it.
I just find it odd that they choice different speeds for the OST versions of the songs, very noticble with Toriel's theme, but not for anything else, it seems.
I'd say it's around 7-8 percent slower? I need to somehow find out how to record audio playing from the PC itself.
