MemoryHeads: What are they?

So in the True Lab, there's enemy called "Memeoryhead". These things aren't like the other Amalgamates. They don't seem to be made up of other monsters. They're made up of multiple faces, and in my opinion, look like 2 faces per Memoryhead. They also ask you to "join them", like you're one of them. Hmm...They're 6 of them, and they think you are one of them...

Nah, doubt it.

But it's still not clear which monsters they are made of and they can't be found anywhere in the world (among Reaper Bird?) later on.

Not sure what's up with them. The item they give has a function to fully heal if you are at/below 3hp, though.

Reaper Bird is made up of three monsters: Astigmatism, Final Froggit and Whimsalot.

Well I know. What I was referring to was the memoryheads as a "they". Guess there was some confusion.

Memoryheads - despite being the obvious Giygas reference - might be a sort of 'garbage bits' Amalgamate just made of parts of other amalgamates that kinda...melted off and repuddled together into something new. Bits of conciousness and memory barely scraping together into a semi sapient...thing.

Perhaps the Memoryheads had more determination injected in them than the other monsters? So instead of just merging together until they had enough physical matter to be stable, they melted into unrecognizable slush.
