FNAF X Undertale drama? Really guys?

Can someone explain to me what the hell kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ went between the FNAF community and the Undertale community; and more importantly, WHO CARES? Seriously guys, who cares if someone wants to do some crossover shiz of some kind with Undertale? Fan-made crossovers happen all the time, just look at the internet, IT'S FULL OF CROSSOVERS BOTH GOOD AND BAD!

This is like back when Kingdom Hearts 1 was announced and the Disney and Final Fantasy fandoms were getting all up and arms at each other for such a thing even existing. The reason why nobody remembers that time? KINGDOM HEARTS WAS DECENT, GOOD EVEN! Weird ass crossovers like Kingdom Hearts can work with the right amount of quality and good execution, whose to say the FNAF/Undertale crossover couldn't work too?

"But Chrono Trigger," you say, "The FNAF fandom is a bunch of toxin laced poison acid!" Are you really gonna judge a work based on factors that don't apply to the work's overall quality? Case in point: Jim ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sterling SON immortalised the phrase "#♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥," yet still gave it's most recent (and probably last real) game, "Metal Gear Solid 5" a 9.5/10, based on the merits of the game alone without inflicting the bias he feels for Konami towards the game itself.

But if you really can't let go of a certain fandom, just stop and think Souls. Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne. The fandoms of those games (of which I am a part of) are WAY worse. How? "Oh you should play our game, it's so good in every way possible, but we're not going to tell you anything about because we want our ability to invade your game world with hideously overpowered gear we know how to get in the early levels to be a surprise!" Basically the DS community (of which I am a part of) are objectively worse than the FNAF because unless you play a Souls game offline, OUR DOUCHBAGGERY IS UNAVOIDABLE! You can avoid the bad parts of any fandom except ours, so before you think any fandom is bad, play a Souls game online, (W E W I L L G I V E Y O U A B A D T I M E)

And listen, I've seen bad crossovers before, we all have, but past experiences cannot truly shape the future. If someone has an idea, he/she/they shouldn't be threatened for it. There is no worse feeling than to tell someone your idea, only to be told that it's bad and you shouldn't do it, without any form of contructive meaning or criticism.

Let me attempt to explain it the way I see it.

-Undertale fanbase is born
-Undertale hatebase looks to demonize it in every possible way
-Oh crap, they can't find anything outside the general bad stuff every fandom everywhere has
-Resort to calling the fanbase bad for existing everywhere rather than letting it die down naturally. Also endless comparisons to FNAF's fanbase.
-Basically it's become an accepted fact by many that FNAF = Cancer and therefore anything like it is also cancer.
-Fanbase does not tolerate being compared to FNAF
-Oh what's that? A fan game crossover between Undertale and the last thing Undertale's fanbase wants to be associated with?

So basically, there are FAR worse fandoms out there. Being a big TF2, Pokemon and Smash Bros fan I can assure you they're all worse. Undertale fans get a ton of flack and do not like it. Being linked with FNAF is the last thing they want
