The guilt...
I'll be honest, I didn't feel that bad about killing Toriel. But when it came to killing Papyrus, it felt like kicking a puppy in the face. It also pissed of Undyne to no end... Anyone else relate to these feels?

Not me. On my first playthrough I killed Toriel, Papyrus and Undyne, not knowing that I could spare them. I spared everyone afterwards.

Ah okay, I think I felt more attached having done the neutral, then pacafist playthough first. Not looking forward to taking on Sans very soon...

On my first run, I hit Toriel one turn before she would let me go (without knowing that, so I had a "you freak of a traitor" message) then I took flowey's bait by reseting from the beginning, and proceeded to spare everyone (except Undyne, I couldn't think of fleeing on a boss battle, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JRPG tropes)

And about feels, the only thing that really got me was Mettaton's purpose.

I remember that I exploded in tears in the first part of Mother 3, but I almost couldn't feel any empathy there, just keeping the finger on the spare button until it's done.

I seem to be the exact opposite of all of you. A friend let me play this, and I enjoyed the genocide route. It was funny watching him overreact to me killing the characters.

I'm sure by now we both know that the pain of regret is only temporary.
You could probably cut them down without a second thought.

Honestly, I don't care about killing any of them. Although they are well done, they are just 8-bit characters, not alive beings. I'll do Genocide or Regular anytime.

For me it was the Undyne fight...not actually killing her, but the part where it's like, the stereotypical "final hero with hope and determination to save everyone" character only...they were trying to save them from ME. Kinda shook me.
Of course given how annoying the fight was I was glad to finish her off lol
