How do I grind for money?
I went the entire game without hurting or killing ANYTHING, as well as always saying the nicest things possible. Now I have to fight Asgore, but I'm super weak, and low on money and health items, and I'm having a difficult time. I've decided I NEED to go and get some more health items, but I can't find anywhere to get money. Anyone have any advice?

Buy cloudy glasses and re-sell them to Temmie. If you don't have the money for that use the slime in the water, he gives you 3 gold each time you ride him around. Then when you have enough, buy cloudy glasses from Gerson in waterfall and sell 'em to temmie. Way faster than dog residue which others might suggest.

Have you done the Piano room/artifact secret at the waterfall yet?

If not, do that, the item you'll recieve can make great healing items that can also be sold many times.

If so, do you still have the dog residue? Use it, store one in a dimensional box for safe keeping, then sell and remake.

If so, but you don't have the dog residue, sell useless items to the tems.

If you're fighting asgore, you have a neutral ending, not a pacifist ending.

reply if you'd like help.

You have to do the neutral ending at first anyways.
After that, you can relead your save and do what you have left to do.

In fights, interacting with monsters in specific ways will increase how much gold they give you when you spare them.

Ice Cap, for example, will give you 45 gold if you ignore him twice, steal his cap, then compliment him in that order. If you simply ignore him twice then spare, you're lucky if you get 20 gold. Some are more simple, like humming with Shyren until she gets spared on her own. The more complex you interact with monsters, the more gold they give.

Good to know for future playthroughs.

Do this, you can do the dog residue thing to get enough money for the glasses as well as the ferry trick.

as long as the bosses aren't dead. If every monster is alive, you can check in with them.

If you're still confused about this.

In order to get the pacifist ending you have to become friends with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys by doing a sidequest for each of them. You more than likely did the one for Papyrus (dating him at his house) you can do the one for Undyne, but not doing it by Asgore does not prevent you from getting the pacifist ending. You have to do these quests in order as each one continues from the previous one in some way.

However, you can't do the two for Alphys until you complete the neutral ending at least once. After you beat Omega Flowey continue from your save. If you spare said boss, they will tell you who you need to befriend in order to get the pacifist ending. If you kill them, don't worry you can still get the good ending (you go back in time before killing them) they just won't give you the clue.

As long as you did not gain any EXP you can still get the pacifist ending. Just do all the necessary sidequests and you'll get locked into the good ending by the end of the quest chain.

I'm at the MTT hotel, and I want to get as many facesteaks as I can, isn't there a faster way to grind gold at this point than going all the way back to gerson?

CORE is the best place for gold grinding before fighting Mettaton.

Oh, I thought Mettaton was before the core.

Also I just learned that I can only get one facesteak. And I feel like temy armor is cheating. So maybe I don't need to grind so much.
