Im not wanting to cause a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again, its just a sincere question.
Thanks for answering anyway
Still no issue with 30 FPS on this game though.
(with some developers, i dont mean toby in any way shape or form)
More like, the devs of Geometry Wars³ *cough* highest graphics intentionally cap the framerate down to 30 *cough*
Super Mario Brothers is 60 FPS. So is Star Force and Adventure Island.
Both Hotline Miami and Undertale are made from the same engine (Game Maker) yet Hotline Miami is 60 FPS while Undertale is stuck at 30.
It can be considered a valid complaint at Undertale though. But the only section is could benefit from are the bullet hell segments. So no biggie for me.
e.g taking damage in this game gives you 30 frames of immunity (1 second) if you had 60fps and assuming everything ran normal you would cut that down to a half second of invulnerability
where modern games have their own tick rate which defines the speed of things rather than frames so 1 second is always 1 second regardless of fps
