I have a question about Flowey
This is my first time making a steam forum post, so sorry for any stupidity on my part about this.

Anyways, I just finished the nuetral run, and without knowing better, I killed flowey. After looking at stuff, I realised that like nobody killed flowey because he like, gives you advice about pacifist route. (which I just started) No big deal I thought, ill just do pacifist route, no biggie, and then I see flowey is missing on the new file.

This gets me wondering, did I f*ck up bad?

Like, I also saw on the wiki, for the genocide route, the ending has flowey tell you that you are worthy (accidental spoiling on myself :c), so that also confuses me, because did I just ♥♥♥♥ up the genocide ending by killing flowey?

Please as little spoilers as possible, but its ok to tell me that its like PLOT TWIST! Flowey is alive.

Genocide ending cant be screwed up if you killed everything from beginning to end.

and does it matter if you truely kill flowey at the end? (besides some dialogue)

Killing Flowey on a neutral run won't affect your Pacifist or Genocide run. Even if he won't be around for a while.

I wouldn't know since I never bother to kill him. Though, go outside of the Core near the hotel area. If you recieve a call from undyne, then I guess you can still get pacifist route, if not then you might have to try again.

First, Genocide run doesn't give you the option to kill Flowey, nor is Flowey even the final boss of a Genocide run.

Second, you can still get pacifist. Flowey is just pretending to be dead to ♥♥♥♥ with you. At least that's what I've heard. If you're paranoid about it though you can just delete your Undertale folder and he will be there same as always when you start a new game.

No it doesn't.
You should still be good Flowey isn't actually dead because you've gone back in time before you killed him.

Flowey, like the player, remembers everything from previous runs unless you "True Reset", which can only be done after getting either the pacifist or genocide ending. So if you just do a normal reset you are essentially going back in time before you had the chance to kill anyone. Flowey still remembers the run you just did, however. So he just hides from you until the end.

I also killed flowey on my first run, and he actually doesn't show up in the subsequent playthrough until the very end. So yeah.
