Did I screw up my Genocide run by killing Papyrus and not have killed 16 mobs yet before?
Do I need to reset all over again? I sort of saved after killing Papyrus so...

if you didnt kill Papyrus in one hit, best reset, the zone previously still had mobs to kill and they go away after the boss fight I believe.

No you should be fine you have gotten the but nobody came message right?

also in the Snowdin area there is a total of 16 enemies.

If you don't kill all the monsters before papyrus, you have to restart...
same with all the bosses. You have to kill each monster before
the boss because after them, the monsters stop spawning.
