what is underfell?

can someone explain i keep hearing about a popular AU called underfell where everybody is evil or something? its killing me can someone please elaborate?

Actually i thought that underfell was when the monsters go insane after being trapped underground for YEARS after frisk does a neutral route and all the souls go missing.

Why? Isn't the entire point of Underfell to flip them to the other side of the good/bad scale?

I believe "Horrorfell" is the AU where things take a turn for the worst after Frisk completes a neutral run. Someone made a pretty cool point-and-click demo game of it (it's not just edgy nonsense either: without spoiling anything, let's just say it touched the part of my heart reserved for goatmom)

it's more like everyone is a mirror verion of themself, but yeah, all the characters who wanted to befriend you wanna kill you, and all who wanted to kill you befriend you. (also Frisk isn't a boy, they're nonbinary and canonly called they by the rest of the characters...)

I like to see Frisk as an ugly boy and Chara as a cute looking, however psychopath and "kill it with fire" feeling when you see her.
