what is underfell?

can someone explain i keep hearing about a popular AU called underfell where everybody is evil or something? its killing me can someone please elaborate?

Plenty of folks covered it, but yeah, Underfell swaps everyone's alignments around.

What I've noticed in fanfics and snippets of people's perspective on the AU, Flowey greets Frisk when they first fall into the underworld. Instead of immediately becoming an enemy, he is the only ally the kid has against the monsters who want to kill the humans for their souls. Who knows? The "kill or be killed" motive may end up applying here as Frisk fights back in self-defense, or goes against Flowey's advice. They can end up using their kindness to provoke a pacifist run instead. After all, all of the monsters aren't exactly friendly in this AU. For example, I've seen a few fanarts of the skeleton brothers behaving rather malevolently (and I'm not talking about a genocide run type of fellows) as it was inspired by Underfell.

On another note, imagine an Underfell! Chara....um.

Been digging a bit on that tumblr post. And its quite an interesting AU. Sans still kinda has a soft spot and frisk is trying to hug everyone xD

Imagine papyrus from genocide..... that is the whole situation for frisk in that AU.

They also imagine chara to be more.. "but.. you'll have to kill.. they will" attitude... more in the self defense thought.

I even read some fanfics of that world.. and am tempted to make fan-art.. that papyrus looks awesome as heck.

Agreeing with Cocyx, the concept of reviving Asriel in such a manner is terrible. Then presuming to, not only know the characters personality but have them respond to 'viewers' is.. a bit cheesy.. but eh... whatever floats your boat.

You not been diggin enough on that tumblr account yet then. I only did it for half an hour and seen all bosses and main characters design.

Alphys has a red black stripes shirt under her labcoat and sharper teeth. And also seemingly caused a rift in time and space and almost destroyed the underground by a black hole. Not to mention she deliberatly experimented on monsters in the open or something... she aint afraid of the true lab stuff she has done...

ok honestly i didnt look at the links because that was that persons specific ideal portrayle of concepts met apparently by those blogs. i do however think tumbler can be selectively good.

as stated above. i prefer to do my own researcg im going mainly off of general searches without delving too deeply into and specific blogs, for my own reason i dislike doing that.

I suppose, it just rubs me the wrong way.. Like with sandpaper, in places, when people try to "role-play" characters that aren't even theirs.
