So I started in hard mode by mistake...
*NO SPOILERS PLEASE*

Yeah, I read in reviews etc that the character was called Frisk so I was like "cool, I'll roll with that"... Now I'm not sure if I'm going to have to restart the whole game if I want to actually play through, looks like I will? If so, is there any way to save the game I've started in case they release the rest of hard mode later or something? Don't really want to lose it cause it took me like an hour but I can't see any options for multiple save files etc and can't find anything useful on google so D: thanks in advance for any help!

You can't reset until you finish hard mode, don't worry it only goes up to the end of the tutorial.

I would just play to the end myself. Sounds like you are close to the end and since hard mode is not finished, you can finish it quite fast and then return to "normal".

Just bear in mind hard mode possibly doesn't take things too... seriously.

Yeah I finished hard mode, I just have to reset it then? Ah well, such is life :P

Not like it would take you long to get there, in case they do finish Hard Mode.

You should name the fallen human after yourself for your first playthrough... then Chara on subsequent playthroughs if you want to get canonical about it.

How do you get off of hard mode??? I bought and downloaded the game and it automatically sent me into the hard mode tutorial and I don't know how to get to play the actual game itself?

1. Don't bump old threads.

2. You named your character Frisk didn't you? Well you have two options. You can beat hardmode and then pick a different name. Isn't too hard since hardmode only lasts until the very end of the first zone in the game. Or you can go to your Undertale folder and manually reset the game by deleting everything.
