Should I buy the game now or wait for discount?
I had heard about this game a month ago and it sounded really interesting. Some of the reviews for it also hit me in the feels too. But I don't know if I'll do much with it.

Well obviously enough waiting for a sale is always better in terms of money.

I myself got interested so much that I broke my usual habit and bought it at full price. Can't say I regretted it. Would even claim the game is a bit underpriced.

Up to you in the end. Though try to avoid Let's Plays and others of this game in general, the spoilers run rampant and the game is best experienced as "blind" as possible.

Have to agree with Meridia, too. A bit risky given how popular game is becoming.

You can't avoid the spoilers that long, get it now. It's easily worth it (especially from a certain humble game shop).

I'd suggest buying it now. I mean it really is worth the money, obviously you can wait for a sale and see if it goes on it but if you can afford to spend 7 quid I suggest buying the game ASAP and playing it, there's no way you can hate this game :papyruswacky:

You could always put Toby Fox at gunpoint to get it for free.

Let's assume when Undertale goes on sale (assumedly around Xmas) it will be 50% off?

If that's your assumption OP, then it is worth spending that extra 50% now to play the game now. I have beaten Undertale 6 times now and I am fully convinced I would have paid 70 dollars for it. I've spent the same amount of money on worse games, and I'm betting so have you.

If it were more expensive, I wouldn't implore you. But it's only 10 dollars. If you wait for a sale, you may regret not getting it now.

It's a tenner... is it really worth waiting an age for a sale for the sake of saving yourself a measly 2.50 to 5 ?

Buy it now, the popularity brings spoilers, and more. For best experience (without spoilers or fandom impressions) you should get it as early as you can.

Ps i have decided to host a raffle so if money is an issue you could participate.

Will probably make a thread for it tonight

There's a demo you can try, maybe start there?

It's Ten bucks and worth twice that. I have bought it for five friends and not regretted a cent of it. Purchase the game, skip a meal, and enjoy yourself.

I see I'm not the only one considering this.

I rarely pay full price if I can, but I may make an exception with this one.

Do it if you have the funds, wait if you can/if you have to for budget reasons.

Was there some reason for the demo not being put on Steam?

It is a slightly out-of-date version compared to what is in the full game, but it should give you a good idea of what to expect. :bbtcat:

It's on the official site, http://undertale.com/demo.htm
