Sea Tea Use?
A quick question, if I drink sea tea before a battle rather than during, will it still affect my speed?

No.

I've never used it outside of battle so I have no idea, heck it might even act like a skip sandwhich ala Earthbound outside of battle, but that's wishful thinking methinks.

Also, is it possible to skip Sans's pre-fight dialogue in a genocide run?

Nope, and with good reason He'll sucker punch you by skipping it himself on about the third/fourth attempt and go right into his 'most powerful attack' opener! The boss eventually cuts themselves off at the last line after enough deaths, so it gets faster eventually. But it is supposed to troll you. The game knows at that point it can't *kill* you. So its attempting to frustrate you into resetting or quitting outright.

Well I can reset without the game ever knowing! I'll just disable cloud data, uninstall the game, delete my save file, reinstall the game, and reenable cloud data! nyeh heh heh heh! I won... I won, right? Right?

I suppose, if you consider that kind of tinkering 'winning'. I personally just stayed Determined, overcame The Bad Time, and promptly reset the intended way before diving too far into the Genocide deep end.

I was truly having a bad time, and if I reset normally at that point Flowey, Chara, Frisk, and Sans would all remember what happened.
Michelozzo Nov 2, 2015 @ 10:00pm
Yes. Yes they would. But if you indeed tinker with everything you can take away those memories from them. You can 'win', as you put it.

Of course, there's always one person whose never going to forget. Whose memories you can't tinker with, who will always remember the dust on your hands from your Genocide run, completed or not. Who is that person you ask?

Why, you of course : )

There is a way, my friend! There is always... a way.

Always.

I'm doing a pacifist run, and Whimsun burst into tears as I consoled it. Does that count against my pacifist run?

Nope, but I'm pretty sure that's not the yellow text in the ending way to spare them. Try just directly sparing them as your opening move.

You can't lose your Pacifism if you never gain EXP and LV. You should know that by now.

Sry, forgot about that. I remembered right after I posted.

No worries, most gamers ARE genocidial maniacs, its hard to break the mold and do this whole 'mercy' thing. Not in our nature : )
