Bug with Genocide run?
Started recording a Genocide run for YouTube (it is not fun, lemme tell you what) but I ran into a problem at the Word Search puzzle: no matter how I interact in the area (skipping past the puzzle, interacting with the puzzle, avoiding the snow around the puzzle, etc etc) the game seems to think I'm ditching the Genocide route. The Genocide music for the area plays normally up until after the Word Search, and then it reverts to its usual soundtrack. The save points are telling me I've got 12 enemies left, maybe I have to kill them all before proceeding here?

Maybe it's a bug, but otherwise I've no idea what I'm doing wrong. At this rate, Genocide might literally turn me into a psychopath.

Yes? Genocide means killing EVERTHING.

Genocide requires a lot of grinding, it is best to stick to one area and grind until the "but nobody came" message appears, then move on to the boss. If you fight the boss of the area before so, you will get kicked off of genocide and there is no way back without resetting.

I haven't even hit Snowdin yet, much less the Papyrus boss, but I'll try that anyway, thanks

The wiki page for the undertale route (http://undertale.wikia.com/wiki/Genocide_Route) has a lot of good info on what is needed. Just be careful and don't read too far down, as there are some major spoilers.

Ah Christ, turns out the music changes on its own anyway, there was literally no problem and now I look dumb on the internet.

That's fine Daget, I had the same reaction too xD I was surprised when the music went back to normal snow forest music.

But if the save points still only say "Determination." or state the number of enemies left, then you're fine C:
