Enemies not appearing in Hotlands

Hi, so I'm on my Genocide Run and I haven't fight Mettaton NEO yet but enemies are not appearing, I just walk for minutes and nothing happens, and i still have to kill 30 more, did i do something wrong? I killed the Royal Guards and Muffet, but not Mettaton.

Enemies are not spawning in every places I think...
so try to stay where you are sure that they spawn.
Also, DON'T change of places... it seem to reset the time
between enemies. This is a pain in the ass but well...

I think there are only like 2 rooms in hotland where enemies actually spawn. Gotta look out for them, and after you found one, stay until the end.

Enemies will spawn in the core too! Go to the bridge and grind those poor little Final Froggits.

Basically, the hotland counter is shared with core. Enjoy your bad time like I did.

You can grind on the bridge room passed "The End" of the CORE, as well as grind the encounters there. As long as you don't walk into the Mettaton Ex boss chamber, you're fine.

i think i made a mistake i accidentaly walked into mettaton neo fight and now they wont spawn is there a way to fix it?
