Snowman piece
does anything special happen if i keep the snowman piece throughout the entire game?

Yup, you make a snowman very happy. And as a wise skeleton once said, we should be nice to people made out of different materials. :3

If you talk to him in the true pacifist walkaround, he'll ask you to take it with you to the surface. But that and the mention in the phone call are your only reward... besides the feeling of helping someone and a job well done of course.

you only need to be carrying the snowman piece at the end for that ending tho, so it's not even like you need it in your inventory for most the game...
