Genocide Hotland no monsters?

Hey! Im doing the genocide run and got to hotland. I have "35 left" but i've been walking for about half an hour and can't find anything. pls help

Try farming for the rest of the monsters on the bridge just outside the Mettaton Ex room since the death counter for hotland is the same as the core.

Turns out that the vermin of Hotland and Core have something in common. What that means is that the whelps all like to hide on the bridge just before the tin can.

What a bunch of idiots, just ripe for the pickings.

Changing rooms resets the enemy encounter rate, so you need to walk in the same room for a very long time in order to encounter enemies. Also make sure that you are in a room that actually spawns enemies.

yup hotlands/core count as one area for genocide so most people use the bridge before mettaton for farming. There is also the warrior path too near by which I believe yeilds 7 enemy.

it just takes some time because literally just as i posted my last respone i got more encounters with monsters and i did it so ye

i had to restart because i did meteton to early, but thanks anyway
