Undertale Gaster/Sans Theory[SPOILERS]
OK. So there is a lot of specualation on Gaster. Just as a warning, there will be SPOILERS. So leave if you dont want spoilers. Gaster is a secret being in Undertale. The creature was working on experiments when they went wrong and he was scattered throughout time and space and that he can see everything. Many believe that Sans and Gaster are related. I believe that, and have one more theory. I think, that Gaster and Sans were working on this machine together. You can find this machine in Sans' Workshop, which you unlock by getting a key from Sans' room and unlocking the door on the left of his house. I think that when Gaster used this machine, other than scatter him, it fused him with Sans. This is why Papyrus has no eyes, and Sans does. And when he does, it is only one. I think the eye is Gaster, telling Sans what is going to happen, since Gaster is all-knowing. Also, I think Gaster told Sans how to make the machine work, because Sans always goes one direction and then ends up on the opposite way. Even Doggo states that he doesnt like Sans because "he can travel without moving," as he would with the machine. This is also why Sans knows of the reset function and how they are in a game. Only the monsters with human souls know that, like Asriel/Flowey. Another thing I just thought of is, what if Sans was a human who came down to the undergound? This would mean that Gaster and Papyrus are the brothers. And then Gaster and the human, Sans, fused and made a human form of a skeleton, extremely different from Papyrus's layout. The only contradiction to this is how we don't get any information on Gaster and Papyrus's relationship, and Papyrus doesn't say anything about getting at new brother. And one last thing about the human theory. Every monster doesn't bleed, EXCEPT SANS. People have speculated this to just be only ketchup and that he doesn't actually die because he goes off screen for the death. Although you hear the death sound for a monster, this could've been a decoy. What do you think? Anything to add?

Sans, Papyrus, and Wing Dings are parallel universe counterparts of the same person, and they share the surname Gaster.

Maybe Gaster was trying to find Sans and Papyrus and he messed up and combined the worlds while destroying himself?

He pulled Sans and Papyrus from their universes into his own. He was destroyed while attempting to fix his mistake.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Maybe he's working on it and that Gaster is helping him get around.
