the reason im asking is that when you go over Undynes house for the first time, she says that "he" layed on the piano, im not trying to start somthing im just trying to figure this out

Undyne says Alphys's friend layed on the piano, likely in reference to Mettaton.

Alphys doesn't seem the type to lay seductively on a piano and feed herself grapes, after all.

Wouldn't it be Pan, tho?? She's confirmed to also be attracted to Mettaton (who uses he/him pronouns but i doubt he indentifies as a male), AND the player. Not Chara. The PLAYER.

I thought she looks at you like you're nuts if you choose that option. But still true, she's attracted to almost everything. Even Toriel too it's revealed if you do certain trivial stuff.

I personally think that she "decided" The Ghost Cousin Now Known As Mettaton would be male, to dissuade herself from his female legs and other parts. If anything, she's responsible for his male pronouns in the first place. She's also a habitual liar, so this is eternally up to debate.

It could just be a deconstructive joke on gender politics, as most trans people tend to act like they were intentionally forced to be born a certain way, as if they were a robot built to please the parents.

It could just be a reference to angels though. Identified as male, but 100% sexy. His anti-human form has wings, so obv. nod there.

If you say "I don't know" at the question about her crush, Mettaton explains that she's attracted to an other-worldly being and asks it to "give us a sign". Nothing happens no matter what you do tho.
