Undertale is the new Homestuck?

I've never been a fan of Homestuck, but i know the Undertale fandom is becoming identical to the Homestuck fandom. Same obnoxious inside-jokes, same embarrasing edgy fan content, etc.

And i'm not even surprised, Undertale's humor IS heavily inspired by Homestuck, since the creators are good friends. But even though our fandom is terrible, you can't deny that the game itself is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clever.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea. I'm used to blogging, so it was probably a reflex. I'm not gonna delete this thread though, as long as people are talking.

The hilarious thing is that Toby IS a major composer for homestuck, other than the creators being friends

undertale's fanbase is worse imo cause undertale is a good game and homestuck is terrible

Both fandoms are pretty bad, but Homestuck's is worse. Its had a nasty past, thanks to the fans.
The Undertale pron is pretty uh...pretty risque, for a lack of a better word. And some of the fans are uh, out there. But Undertale is definitely the better of two evils lol

I would say that Undertale is in all respects objectively better than Homestuck, but they are tangentially related, and I am fans of both.

The Homestuck fanfiction is superior, however. If only from the desire to tie up loose ends and polish injusticed dead characters, whereas most Undertale fiction is just about being boned by Sans. Undertale is much more of a complete story, so very little could be added.

He didn't say anything about fnaf, whenever a undertale thinks of a clever comeback all they say is "Uhuhughuh fnaf is new undertale ughauhguahsu" just to make fun of them, it's not clever, it's stupid and immature. And it's true fnaf fanbase is as huge as undertales, but the much worse fact is that how much the popular the thing is, the how much hate it gets.

And Undertale isn't quite as bad as Homestuck yet. But, unfortunately, its getting there.

The fans haven't ruined the game for me???? The fanbase is just awful, i still enjoy the game regardless.
