Genocide Questions! Need Some Help

So, I made it through the Ruins by killing everything until I got the "But nobody came" message, that was simple.
I got Snowdin and the kill counter showed up. As far as I know I should have killed everything in this area? But I started getting the "That comedian..." note when I got to save points. I thought I eliminated all of the enemies but I'm not so sure now? Snowdin Town is still inhabited as well. Did I mess up? This happened on my last genocide run so I reset, and now it happened again.

I'm also no longer encountering enemies at all, nor am I getting the "But nobody came" message. Kinda confused...

You'll just have to keep looking for the last vermin(s). Preferably without encountering that stupid beetlebody-skeleton again after that moronic town.

I think you have to go into the Gyftrot area to kill the last few, but I'm not 100% sure

That's strange.. I've been through there a million times already and I've already got Gyftrot as well. I grinded all possible monsters in that area as far as I know but I'll try again.

That's happened to me(and a friend as well) and we had to reset. The town didn't have everyone deserted(there should be no one in snowden). I think if you dont kill everything before you cross the long bridge and then talk to Sans where he says "dont kill papyrus, or youre gonna have a bad time" and then it says "that comedian" and no monsters show up anymore. Keep trying though, if you havent been to snowden already.

Also, the deer thing doesnt have to be killed, I didnt kill him in my genocide and it continued as normal.

Alright! I reset just in case so I'm going through it all again just to make sure. Currently in the ruins, grinding out the last few monsters. :P

You get the "That comedian..." message if Sans tells you you're gonna have a bad time before you've killed everything. It means there's still monsters to kill. I think the fight rate in Snowdin is the slowest in the game, so it may take a while before you encounter anything. But until you get the "Determination" and "But nobody came" messages, you haven't killed everything yet.

"That comedian. . . " happens when you save at Snowdin before reaching the kill requirement. It doesn't lock you out of Genocide, so you didn't need to RESET. As long as you kill everything before fighting Papyrus you're fine.

"That comedian" will temporarily block the kill counter if you weren't finished before reaching that point. It's still possible to get genocide. Just keep killing things until you get the "but nobody came" thing.
