Increase Spawn Rate

So during my genocide run I'm having trouble getting ANY monsters to spawn. I know that's kind of the point but is there any way to increase the chance of finding monsters.

Go to certain rooms in each of the areas.

Snowdin- Box area

Waterfall- Room with two waterfalls

Hotlands/Core- Brindge before METTATON NEO

Another trick to use is to hold the arrow key while toggling between full screen and not full screen. You will continue walking even without pressing anything. If you do this while you're in a corner, you will be stuck there "walking" in the same spot until a counter shows up.
