Mushroom Door

Alright, so I'm doing a pacifist run atm and before Snowdin there's this cliff that you walk on and it leads to a room with four mushrooms and a door. When I first played through the game (I did pacifist, true pacifist, then I did hard mode, and I'm back to pacifist now) Sans wasn't there. I know he mentions telling jokes with a lady (Toriel) through a door, but I had always assumed it was the one that you exit the ruins through. Well, he's by that area now, asking about me following him, and ??? This didn't happen in earlier playthroughs.

I looked this up earlier on a different forum and the answers were p vague and made no sense honestly, and somebody mentioned Toby Fox saying something about despair being behind that door???

Anyways, my real question is how do you get through that door?

And please oh please, answer straightforward.

You have to avoid the Kickstarter backer's names in the Special Thanks credits.

You have to dodge all of the "Special Thanks" credits.

And Sans is there until you fight Greater Dog, so on earlier runs you must have backtracked there after fighting him.

There is also a secret enemy in that room if you walk around inside for 3 minutes.

Okay 0.0 So after that then do I reload the game and go back to that area? Or does something happen after I avoid it...?

It stays open permanently regardless of True Resets.
