Regardless of it winning any or not, it was still nominated in 3 categories. I kinda knew at the moment it missed Indie and Games for Change it wouldn't get a win, but it has got to be an honor for Toby to be in the company of AAA games. If I am salty about anything it is that it wasn't even nominated for soundtrack :( Seriously, I can't memorize many of the orchestral tunes from the nomatinations. They are just not memorable.

I figured from the start that it wouldn't win. But at least it was a contender, so that's an accomplishment.

It's like if you had of choice of either Hideo Kojima showing up to accept MGSV's award or to have Undertale win Best Indie Game, but then it's all like "♥♥♥♥ you" and neither happens.

The show as a whole was decent I guess.

It was put on the nominations to make sure the "Indie Flavor of the Month" was represented and people didn't get too upset. Too bad there's delusional people in the fanbase that will curse Geoff Keighley and wish for his death because their indie darling didn't win. Then there's the well-rounded decent fans of this game who don't scour the forums and reviews sections trying to defend every little bit and portion of this game as if it were their first born child when it's just a mediocre game.

That is a little surprising. I thought it would win something because of its unique combat style and idea that you don't have to kill anyone. (or completely kill everything and h a v e a b a d t i m e. . .)
