Sans: Human or Skeleton?
WARNING: There will be spoilers for the game if you haven't played it already. Please read with caution.

So, I know a theory that has been discussed a lot is whether or not Sans is actually a skeleton. Sans being human would make a lot of sense, for his mouth never actually moves when he speaks, which may show that he's wearing a mask. He also winks frequently, which is something neither a mask nor skeleton could do.

But something that easily caught my attention is when you kill Sans. He starts to bleed when you attack him, but most people assume this is ketchup. That would be strange, for if he consumed bottles of ketchup, wouldn't the ketchup just leak through his body after consumption?

Please leave any additional evidence if you have any to help figure this out!

Skeleton people are looking way too deep into this...

A human wouldn't be able to turn your soul blue, add gravity to it, throw your soul around in a box, etc, or even use magic at all....

But would be able to sweat, which confirms that he's bleeding, it wouldn't be ketchup for whatever reason.

A skeleton can't either, a skeleton is literally just a dead human. Plus this game is fictional, obviously. Nothing can make your soul change colours and move you around to jump over bones.

Papyrus randomly gets eyes. Does that make him a human too?
The "sans." steam background shows a little bit of his lower legs.
Those look like bones, tbh.
They aren't really skeletons, just monsters that happen to look like them.
Also at one point Sans drinks ketchup and it doesn't pass through him.

I stop you right now, because if Sans was human, then his mask would be sweating.

Maskass syndrom all over again.

Humeleton

There, I solved it
Human skeletons and monster skeletons are totally different things.

Sans is not a normal skeleton, he's a skeleton type of monster

If you want to get technical, you could say Sans was a human.

His skin and muscles are gone to where only the bone is left.

Sans is human, I don't have much evidence to prove this, but I'll just try to convince you. Sans can bleed, a skeleton or a monster can not do, they will just turn into dust, try looking at his secret room, he has a badge, a photo with people you don't recognize, (You kill EVERYONE in a genocide run, meaning you'd have to meet them eventually unless they were human,) he has extreme determination, something that Undyne MELTS from, and a strange machine in which looks like a time travel machine. In Earthbound, Ness needs to travel in a traveling machine (?) leaving his body behind and using a robot thing as a vessel for his SOUL. Soul is the keyword here. So, first Papy has the mark of the enemies on his uniform, so he must come from Earthbound. Sans explicitly stats that he gave up trying to go back a long time ago, presumably to his world, also, LOVE, you can choose as a favorite thing, sans is filled with LV, the abbreviation for Love. The badge would be the franklin badge if my theory is correct. The pictures are from the cameraman, and SANS is only a vowel away from NESS. He is also abnormally strong for a monster. You might put up the argument that he can't be from Earthbound because humans can't use magic! But in the beginning, it states that 7 humans made a barrier, trapping the monsters down in that deep cave, meaning that humans can in fact use magic! Sans banging Frisk and Chara against the walls, IMO he's just using PSI Magnet. Gaster Blasters are PK Thunder, and his agility is from Teleport. Coming back to Papy being from Earthbound, they're "Brothers". Maybe Papy is a traitor? Maybe he isn't? I hope this convinced you, but also thanks for reading this. :sans:

You're literally talking about some guy that can manipulate time and gravity... Don't you think he'd be able to make up a mask that's winking at his will?
