How do you pronounce "Chara"?
How do you all pronounce the name Chara?

"Char - uh" like "charcoal" or "Charizard"

"Car - uh" like a "car" you drive?

"Care - uh" like it's an abbreviated form of "CHARActer"?

BONUS ROUND: What is your headcanon gender for Chara, as in just the character in the story not you playing as said character?

It's supposed to be option 3, but my mind keeps going on option 1.

Mix between all 3. Whatever i feel like calling he/she.
Personally I think it's supposed to be like character...

"Car-ah" 'cause I can't speak English properly.

Also because I think it is the Greek pronunciation of "joy".

But it would most likely be option 3.

To answer the bonus question, I consider Chara as a male and Frisk as a female.

I think this is how you actually pronounce it as a name?

The greek word is χαρά, Hah-RAAH. H as in "happy", a as in "car", "r" as in "rise. It means "happiness". Which is quite fitting, since Chara is a smiling character.
"Car - uh" like a "car" you drive
