[SPOILERS] Killing Flowey then doing a True Pacifist Route
Is it possible? My first playthrough was a neutral playthrough. At the end of the game, I killed Flowey. I know that after killing Flowey and doing another game where you spare Asgore, Flowey comes in and prevents you from "Getting your happy ending".

If I play through the game again trying the True Pacifist route, will he appear? If he does, do I have to play through the game yet again in order to get the True Pacifist route? It sounds confusing, so let me do it this way:

Does it happen like this:

Go Neutral Route

Kill Flowey

Reset

True Pacifist Attempt

Spare Asgore

Flowey Stops you from getting the real ending

Repeat the game again to get the neutral and then True Pacifist

TL;DR: Am I screwed?

I'm pretty sure that works. Nothing can prevent you from True Pacifist or Genocide if ya just reset and do all of the requirements for either correctly. With True Pacifist you might have to go through the Neutral route ending and go back to the SAVE point before Asgore, but I doubt it.

in other words, you're fine, buddy.

Killing flowey doesn't count as a kill. You can still do True Pacifist after you kill Flowey. If you spared him, he would've given you a tip on how to do the True Pacifist route.

But will he still appear in the True Pacifist route?

Yep, he still appears. If you restarted the run he won't appear for a very long time though.

So, he appears and then I have to do it again or no?

First, did you restart the run completely?

If you mean by resetting after getting the Neutral Ending, then yes. In the reset, I am attempting a True Pacifist run.

Did you kill anyone your first playthrough? if you didn't then you didn't have to restart.

You can still do the True Pacifist run you're doing right now. Flowey just won't appear for a long time because he remember what you did your first playthrough.

Okay. I think I got it now. Thanks for the help!

This game though....it gets to you...at this point it can hardly be called a game.

Yep, it's one of the few things to make me cry.

In my opinion, it's not a game, but rather, an experience.

THIS was the comment I was looking for. THANK YOU! No one specifies that he doesn't show up for a very long time. I know this was 6 years ago but I still appreciate it.
