You can't love what is born of hate
Hate consumes until there is nothing left
At the end of that route there is nothing left of you to fight for
"But nobody came"
Don't push me, little flower.
Which is why you are supposed to feel bad when going to the genocide path.
We can all pretend there's some retribution in No Mercy. Can't some people give a little leeway for imagination? It's not like anyone's screaming "THIS HAS TO BE IN THE GAME AAAAAH" This thread is a What If Scenario.
I would assume Chara would fight you at the end of a Pacifist Run if you actually did the "Dreamer Reborn" thing and somehow had Frisk give their soul to Asriel.
With Asriel now sharing Frisk's soul with Chara, Frisk doesn't need Chara to be able to SAVE anymore and if you side with Asriel, Chara loses the ability to SAVE as well (Chara had to combine with Frisk's determination in order to do it). Chara fights you (Frisk) because if Frisk goes to the surface in that state, she won't be able to steal Frisk's soul and get back herself. Chara is fighting you because it's literally her last shot at victory, and she has no choice but to fight you directly now. It's a final boss over control for your soul. A battle against the two red hearts; Frisk's DETERMINATION against Chara's.
Also I should preface, if you completed a Genocide Run, Chara already owns your soul. So you can't get this fight if you ever completed one. There's no retribution for your consequences.
Perhaps it could be like his- True Bullet Hell. The game's light on it compared to MANY games.

Skip to 1:13 to see the fight.
Because Chara seperated from Frisk at this point, none of both can save, because then, Flowey has the most determination to save.
That would go VERY well with Chara! With a few other accents from other bosses, that seems like it could be the most ideal Chara boss fight. If Toby ever makes any additions to the game, he should add a Chara fight
He should, but he won't. It would break the game unless he was using surgical precision on the placement of said bossfight. One ♥♥♥♥-up could shatter the entire experience for people.
Oh, I didn't know! Yeah I think we're all better off with one less boss fight rather then with no game at all
something like this,
