Was I supposed to kill Undyne ?

Or was there a way where I could avoid killing her
she kept saying on how I killed her friends and what not although I am 100% sure I only killed 2 frogs at the beginning of the game because I didnt know i can "spare them "

I ended up killing her and she whined about some stuff of not dying

Sooo is it cool ? just wondering if there was another method

You are "supposed to do" what you want to do.

There's another method, but whether you want to do that or not is up to one's opinion.

If this is your first run then it's all the same since you NEED to do a Neutral run (kill and spare). However if you choose to do a Pacifist run (happy ending) you will have to spare everyone/everything you fight. As for Undy.... Wait. There's a wiki page that explains how to do pretty much everything. Why are you asking here?

Well... I guess I forgot how I went through the wiki pages with squinted eyes in order to avoid spoilers. I guess I forgot other people care about them too. Anyway... In order to "spare" Undyne for the pacifist playthrough you have to flee from her a bunch of times. If you do it right (and by that I mean not let go of your movement keys) she will catch up with you 2-3 times (can't remember the exact number) keep fleeing from her each time. She'll chase you to Hotland where stuff will happen. Just get there and the fight is over.

You can run aways when your heart is red.
She always talking about "running aways"... this was a clue.

Godangit. Play however you like and remember you can always reset and start everything again if you don't like how things are going (or you don't like how things end).
