Undertale

Snowdin golf (may contain some spoilers ..)
so, i had it recently told to me that the golf course end flags actually represent the personalities of the other humans, even going as far as showing which color soul relates to which human personality
and then it hit me ... all of the weapon/armor "sets" (ballet shoes and tutu, cowboy hat and gun ect ect) all also relate to those souls aswell, defined by their personality
but then i noticed something, it never describes YOU directly, ever, on genocide it describes Chara with the red flag, but it never describes Frisk
i think its because Frisk is supposed to have your personality while controlling him/her/whateverthehellFriskis, and the flags are only meant to show the personality of which OTHER human you are most like while doing the course

That's...interesting.

It's also possible that Chara is actually Frisk.

Frisk is a sort of... unidentifiable personality. Since they're "new" to the underground, it's hard to describe them and how they act. When they go genocidal, that's when it starts to make the connections.

in genocide and pacifist runs, its pretty much thrown right at your face that Frisk and Chara are extremely different people, Especially during a Pacifist run

How so? The pacifist run is where two strong points can be found: The bandage you wear as armor being tied to the mummy wraps in Chara's coffin, and how Asriel is talking about how much he loved you as a sibling when you fought him, how he pleaded for you to let him win so you never have to leave him again.

if you go back to the first room, the one you fall into at the start of the game, right after Asriel breaks the seal, without quitting out of the game and joining in again, Asriel tells you a bit about Chara, and how Chara wasnt a nice person, and wanted to kill

I'm well aware of that, I even put that information in my linked thread that Chara is an established sociopath. I also explain how that ties to Frisk. During the pacifist run, Chara realizes the mistakes they had made in the past and tries to absolve himself of them, by taking a new name and identity. By becoming Frisk, Chara aims to get everyone to forget who they were and to love who they are now.

there are also very small details, especially with the mirrors, that hints that Chara and Frisk are different people, During a Genocide run it says something akin to "its me" where as during a pacifist it says "its you" and "after everything, its still you"
its thought that the one saying that is actually Chara, and not Frisk talking to him/herself
also, pretty MAJOR SPOILER for the end of Genocide, Frisk actually sells his/her soul to Chara to reset the world, thus proving they are different and Frisk isnt just another form for Chara to take

I also cover the genocide ending, but not the mirror.

I'm of the thought that the Chara you meet in the genocide ending is actually your past, a haunting, old memories. You didn't give your soul to them, you merely gave up what was left of your kindness and humanity and embraced who you truly are: A heartless murderer.

hmm, well i guess thats the problem with it never being said out right how it is, we will all develop differnet theories as to what it is in the end

Exactly, that is why I made my hypothesis thread. There's a lot of unanswered questions we're left to interpret ourselves.
