The other things you MUST do are date Papyrus, and take a break with Sans when he asks. There is one other thing you can do, but it isn't required. Though I recommend doing it before you meet Asgore for more story. (Note: you will have to do it anyway for the true pacifist ending)
The other thing is that you actually are forced to get the neutral ending first. If you've done everything correctly after getting the neutral ending you can continue from your last save and finish what needs to be done for the true pacifist ending. Keep in mind some stuff can only be done after beating the neutral endboss.
Thanks for the input
The game remembers previous playthroughs as this effects some dialogue in the game. Going through with the Genocide Run a single time even changes part of the pacifist ending permanently. Which is why many stop after fighting Sans...
I'd check your xp and make sure you don't have any.
I remember some anecdotes that say in the demo version, eating a Vegetoid gives EXP. AFAIK, this doesn't happen in the final version.
That's a good tip, thanks. I'm going to get the neutral and pacifist on my first run...unless the new dialogue is worth restarting for?
