Undertale

This game killed my PC
Hey y'all!
So, 2 days ago I played and finished this game. No problem whatsoever. Loved it.
Then yesterday, started the game again, wanted to play it a different route, then suddenly bluescreen, PC restarts. PC seemed to work again, everything looked normal. Started Undertale again, bluescreen again, but this time I was then no longer able to turn on my PC. After a few seconds it would just turn itself off again. Now its in repair and it will probably cost me a lot to get replaced what got damaged, I assume its the Power unit or whatever it would be called in englisch.

I'm just curious if anyone maybe had similar experience or if somebody knows how this won't happen again, or what even did happen.

Thank you!

It's probably your computer. I don't think Undertale is a very resource-demanding game.

I know, thats what I thought too. But I had this computer for only like half a year now, and The Phantom Pain in the best possible graphic settings, same for GTA5, run completely without a lag or anything. My PC is rather high end. I can't really think of a reason why this would have happened if I had not started Undertale.

any steam games or programs don't have any permission to screw you system.
(unless you game the app to do so)
so, can't be undertales doing

My guess is that one or multiple components in your computer were defect. If it's that new and that high end, I can't really think of anything else.

I think this game doesn't even use Direct 3D. So it's not resource intensive on the processor and video card. So I think it's just a bad coincidence.

I believe game maker studio use directX for window rendering.

I have a brand new high end computer too. I just bought the game two days ago same as you did and beat it. But instead of a blue screen, when I open any game one minute into the game the screen freezes and an aweful sound is emited. I be leave that when the game purposefully crashes itself it over loaded the computer processors and severely damaged them. The friend that convinced me to get the game had a similar experience and he had to get a new graphics disc a few days after his game purposefully crashed itself.

I think what closes the game is just a code to close the app itself, it shouldn't have any negative effects on anything else.

Even Windows can kill a video card because well, Windows does use the graphic card.... -_-;;

I fear it may be karma for taking away their ending. But seriously though, what system do you use?

Gaster is breaking out of the game, its only a matter of time before he breaks out of our computers, QUICK, BURN ALL THE UNDERTALE COPIES BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

(Sorry, dude, I have no idea how to fix your problem)
