Pronouncing character names

I'm making a few videos about the game and don't want to embarass myself and lose precious indie gamer cred. Help me figure out how to say these, please.

--THE TWO BIG'UNS--

Asgore - I suppose "AS-GOR" sounds most natural, but I was saying "AS-GO-REY" for a while, probably because I'm used to seeing romanized Japanese in games like this

Undyne - I had been saying "OON-DEEN" because I'm pretty sure there was a water spirit or goddess or something that the name is referencing (although I probably don't have the correct pronunciation of that either, picking it up from a JRPG I played ten years ago) However, the genocide run refers to her as (actual minor spoiler) Undyne the Undying so it does make sense to pronounce it "UN-DINE" in the name of wordplay

--THE SEEMINGLY OBVIOUS, BUT COULD BE WRONG--

Flowey - "FLOU-EE" Like "flower" but an "ee" at the end.

Toriel - "TOR-EE-EL" Like "tutorial", or like hair gel because you're worth it

Alphys - "AL-FIS" Like... I dunno... somebody who won't turn just off their goddarn murder robot

Asgore: AS-GOR
Undyne: UN-DINE
Flowey: FLOU-EE
Toriel: TOR-EE-EL
Alphys: AL-FIS

You might also wanna consider:
Chara: CHAR-AH, KAR-AH, CHAIR-AH or CAIR-AH
Asriel: AZ-REE-EL
Mettaton: MEH-TAH-TUN

I seem to pronounce Toriel like "L'Oreal", but like "tutorial" works too.
Likewise, I've been doing the same with Asriel, since his name is a combination of Asgore and Toriel. Blame Asgore's terrible naming sense.

Flowey being pronounced like "flower" makes most sense, especially considering that he's Asriel, and likely inherited Asgore's terrible naming sense.

Since we're talking names, I've been wondering. It seems that the major characters names are references to something: Toriel -> Tutorial, sans and Papyrus being fonts, Undyne being both a reference to Undine and Undying, Muffet's names comes from the nursery rhyme, but I could never understand what Asgore is supposed to be. Is it actually anything?

I'm in the belief that "Asgore" is just an original name made to sound reasonably intimidating, as the first time you hear it is in a context that makes him sound like a threat.
And an excuse to have Asriel's name structured as I mentioned above, since "Asriel Dreemurr" is an anagram for "Serial Murderer".

I've hear Papyrus being Pap-ee-ris
I've also heard Sans as S-aw-ns

Mostly those two bother me. That and Chara as - 'care'-a. Which doesn't seem right to me.

Except French is my main language, so I've been pronouncing both of those names because that's how they sound in French and they sounded more natural for me. My sister also thinks the same if that changes anything.

Hmm...
I have a stupid accent that is like half New Yorker and half Italian...
So my prouncation is so off....

At first i said Toriel as "TOR-EL" but than i realized it was a play on tutorial
Also Napstablook as "NAP-STABS-LOOKS"
Finally I prounced Alphys as "AL-FE-US" and i still catch myself calling that sometimes....
