Controller Support/Help
The game says Partial Controller support, but my Xbox One Controller does not work and isn't recongnized by the game. For some reason Xpadder fails to help with the problem as well and does not recognize the inputs I put in. (Ex. D-pad was assigned to arrows and A & X were set to Z & C, However the game does not recognize any input.

I'm hearing that it is possible to bind and unbind keys and if I can't get my controller working I'm fine using WASD But the arrow keys really bug me, where am i suppose to navigate for Key Config cause the main menu just takes me to load my file.

You don't have a Joystick Config option? You need to go in that, then set the buttons to what you want.

Xbox One controller here as well, game doesn't recognize it. xPadder does the trick though.

This solved the problem for me on Windows 10.
Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right click your USB gamepad (Wireless XB1 for me) and click game controller settings.
If you see multiple devices in the list, select the one you want to use and then click Advanced. From there, you can make it the "preferred device" which helps Undertale detect it.

Thank you, Beef Supreme. This one fixed it for me, as well. I have a USB adapter that accepts two PS2 controllers, and apparently I don't need x360ce with Undertale. If your controllers are named the same, just keep changing the "Preferred device" until it works in-game.

I'm using a snes usb controller but I can't go left. I've already changed the settings but it doesn't work. Help

carlodotti: Windows 10 > Control Panel > Devices and Printers > (right click your controller under Devices) > Game controller settings > Properties. There will be two tabs: Test allows you to verify that each button / direction works; Settings should allow you to Callibrate...
Alternatively, if your name happens to be Derek, you're prety much eff'd until the end of the movie.
