Having so much trouble with Asgore...

I had so much trouble with beating the dance off with the previous boss fight I ended up spending all my gold in order to stay alive. Now I have no heals for fighting Asgore and I'm just not sure what I should do.

Can anyone tell me where I should go to get heals? This isn't a pacifist run, I didn't know about the multiple endings until after the last boss battle I did. :/ (makes sense!)

I just know I cant dodge and fight my way out of this, its just too hard. What should I do? I don't want to start over. I just don't know if I screwed myself or if theres a way I still beat him... Please no spoilers, I've already seen some trying to figure out how to beat him.

Also I tried the talking to Asgore thing and its supposed to lower his defence but I never saw any change.

You have to talk to Asgore a few times to lower his attack and defense. You'll know it when it happens. Eating the pie lowers them even more but it sounds like you don't have it any more.

If you need gold, you can sell stuff to the Temmies. You could also backtrack to Waterfall and solve the piano puzzle; doing so gets you a source of unlimited healing items.

I talked to him probably over the span of 8 turns. I dont get what I'm doing wrong. I might have gotten hit, would that matter?

Yeah, I ate the pie, I didn't think this game would be that in depth. lol

I think I ended up dropping stuff because I coudn't figure out where to sell things - I didn't look it up because, again, didnt think this game would be that in depth. x__x Also I couldnt find anywhere to sell it at the time.

I can try the piano puzzle. Thanks. :) I was afraid of backtracking but it looks like I litterally have to. I don't wnat to just restart... even though I know my choices are going to give me a negative outcome I want to see the ending I would have gotten.

You should try a pacifist run, Asgore becomes much easier, trust me.

It should happen after 3-4 turns, although, now that I think about it, it may not work if you've killed anyone. I've only tried it on a pacifist run.

Rogerino - You really think so? <:/ Agh... I'm telling you I'm just so frustrated with myself right now because this is so difficult. I cant tell if it's me or if the game is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. I can try getting the piano heals, whatever that will be... And maybe if it's still too hard I'll have to start over and abandon the probably bad ending I'm going to get. x_x

If you want a way to make money to get healing items, first get enough money from random encounters to buy the cloudy glasses from the turtle (I believe it is 30). Then sell the glasses at the tem shop. You profit 20 gold each time you sell the glasses, so once you get 8 slots of glasses, you will be profitting 160 gold per run.

I think that if you get the dog residue you can keep respawning it and selling for money.

When you pay Tem for college you can buy Temy ARMOR!!! the price of this is 9999G but the price gets lower each time you get a game over.
