I'm still playing this as pacifist
Lategame I was called Gaster, but this did not seem to affect anything. I didn't skip dialogue to see if there would be a difference.
What I've been curious about is using the name Chara, though from what I saw from a stream yesterday, that doesn't change anything either?
Everything else just gives you snide comments.
Chara isn't ACTUALLY the name of the character in question. It's just fancanon that has been so prevalent that people forget it's not actually the character's name.
It's not canon even if the game says "the true name" when you type it in?
Also if that Jerry thing is true, I absolutely have to try it.
It's a snide comment that gets misinterpreted.
It's a joke about how it's the placeholder name the game slots in if you teleport past character creation so that the game doesn't crash with a null string pointer. It's not actually the name of the unnamable evil.
Hm, alrighty then. Thanks for the info.
Chara is the closest thing to a canon name we have. Toby's intent was for you to use your real name but that's not really practical for forum discussions.
Well I didn't have the Jerry name. Just said I heard it makes things different. But alright.
Edit: This is false info.
