papyrus is frisk
Papyrus - Cool Person!
dude's critically injured and dies from a single hit, sounds like 1 hp to me
99999999999999 damage tho..... not even undying the undying could tank that with the code stats of 23,000 health
yea the tankiest enemy in the game doesnt even come close. and are we just going to ignore we done that to toriel MTT muffet too? (going to ignore papyrus because you can argue he had is guard down)
like no one is tanking them damages besides normal monsters because these attack damages are purely scripted and have nothing to do with your actual AT or LV they are scripted deaths and sans is no exception
and before you bring "the code states sans has 1hp" through the use of data mining
may i remind you that when you check undying the undying acording to the in game information undying the undying has 99AT and 99DF yet you deal at least 1k damage per swing
ofc data mining the games code is another story but the entire thing about it being code is that its not meant to be seen by the player its not the canon information
the 2 main arguments the community makes doesnt actually prove anything yet the whole 1hp thing is treated as cannon anyways
and dont get me started on the whole "if hasnt got 1hp why would he be able to doge" i dunno why can he teleport and oh i dunno Attack you on the Battle UI? maybe its because his self awareness gives him major advanteges like the ability to break the games own rules?
i dunno i find it strange the explamation for sans only fighting you at the end is due to kr being rediculous your telling me sparing 1 monster in hotland is enough to reduce his kr back to nothing or to a point it doesnt have a big enough effect on you?
sans being nothing more than a dirty cheater fits in perfectly with him being lazy and what about only fighting you at the end of a genocide route you may ask
well one of the first things he says "take another step forward and you wont like what happens next" and at the end when you slash him he says "welp just dont say i didnt warn you"
the whole taking another step forward could be refering to chara erasing the world being something you yourself cannot undo and by all means will regret
i always enjoyed the entire idea of sans being self aware is nothing more than a dirty cheater especially when his main way of beating you was to actually hold you hostage for an eternity by never finishing his turn and you only beat him by also cheating
by sans being self aware it fits in perfectly with the meta narative the game actually holds sans is there self aware just to punish the player and more than likely already knows that and is genuinly trying to talk you out of something you would regret doing
and him cheating the system as much as possible to acheive this makes perfect sense to his charecter deign
