Undertale will not Launch
The game won't launch, I click on play, the game runs, and immediately stops, no launch screen, nothing.

Things I've done already:

1. Deleted steamdll.api in the Installation Folder, and Verified the Integrity of game files.

Result: Game still won't launch

2. Ran the game in administrator mode.

Result: Same thing

3. Restarted my PC

Result: Same

4. Uninstalled and Reinstalled the game, Deleted steamdll.app in the installation folder, and verified the integrity of game files, as well as setting the game to run in administrator mode.

Result: Same thing

5. Tried extracted the game to a new folder, and running it from there.

Result: Game opens A folder showing the same .exe file, I click on it, try to launch it, nothing happens.

Result: Same thing

I'm using Windows 11. A MSI GF65 Thin 10UE Gaming Laptop. Intel Core i5 Cpu, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. x64 based system. So, well above Undertale's game requirements. I'm not running steam in compatibility mode either, I'm running it admin mode as well.

I'm going to try setting the game's .exe to Windows 8/7 Compatibility mode, and see if that works. If not, I don't know what to do.

Also I have the latest version of Direct X, and Visual C++.

Never mind, I figured out what was going on.

So when i extracted the file and tried to run, it was running in a background process. I figured that extracting the file into a new folder, was bs, so I just stopped the background process, deleted the folder, and tried running as administator on the .exe

Alright, so I've tested running from steam directly, and that doesn't work.

So if anyone's having a problem launching the game:

Delete the steamdll.api, and run from the games installation folder, with administrator mode on.
