Changing Key Bindings?

Is there a way to change these absolutely atrocious fake retro controls in the game files or something?

I'm left handed and use a qwertz layout, so games like this that have their controls locked to something outlandish and nonsensical across the whole keyboard are just a flat out pain in the ♥♥♥♥ and ruin games for me.

I was kind of excited to finally play this game but this issue is a hurdle that really made me lose all the exitement i had for it.

Never had an issue with using the basic controls, myself.

Could try a controller if it's such a big issue.

The game doesn't have any built-in remapping, but you could use a program like AutoHotKey[autohotkey.com] to remap the controls. Some guys over on Reddit made a basic WASD script for it:

w::Up
a::Left
s::Down
d::Right

Here's an idea, sometimes I like to use the arrow keys, so I have one hand using the controller buttons and the other on the arrow keys.

Here's a weird idea, cross your hands so your left hand is on arrows and right hand on Z and X.

bro, it's not a virus this is a genuine programming tool. it's used to make macros. not dangerous.

On the norton review site, there are a bunch of people who said it was a trojan and my antivirus immediately moved the file to quarantine when I downloaded it.

probably just a false positive. I've had autohotkey in my applications and nothing wrong has happened.
