Uhhh, what happened? (end of game crash?)

Right after I "defeated" ASGORE and chose Mercy, Flowey appeared and told me that "I haven't learned anything, it's KILL or BE KILLED". Then the game just closed.

Was that a bug? I don't appear to have actually had an ending!

I was Level 5

Just launch the game, its supposed to happen because flowey takes over. You game will crash several times during the next thing you'll see

Just turn it back on. Sometimes it crashes for no reason.

That's a bug, Just load it back up and hope your save hasn't corrupted, Then have fun playing Floweytale
