I would counter argue this. Like. The complete opposite of this. Imo he is the most cliche and my least favourite of the main cast.

I wont say he is "bad" designed.. he reaches what he was intended for.... but i just don't like those characters x (

I kinda don't get the whole, "new enhanced body" crap. I think Alphys mainly made the changes to appeal to a wider range of audiences...

I still have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea where that ship came from. I mean, I have nothing against it strictly speaking, but it boggles my mind how people think two characters who have barely any interaction with each other could be such a popular couple.

PFFFFT. I don't think people complaining about the fanbase (and I mean EVERYONE between those rightfully complaining about toxicity, and those just hatin') really care about who ships who.

At least I've never seen someone say "what the hell, Undertale ♥♥♥♥ like watching skeletons ♥♥♥♥ robots".

With papyrus being my fave and mettaton the least that ship also kinda annoys me.

Both on the surface look like they "echo-trip" about themselves, but papyrus does it in a funny and kinda humble way.. even while he screams x).

Mettaton is just adding drama with it. Not to mention that history.. explains kindish... but still... selfish.

Funny you should mention that, there was some comic dub where Mettaton was basically saying something along the lines of "I don't get that guy. If it wasn't for the fact that he was incompetant at everything, he'd be exactly like me. How does someone who ♥♥♥♥♥ up everything they touch manage to be so narcicisstic?"

Haha nice xD its true. But that main difference adds more depth to papyrus imo. Not to mention. Brothers. Papyrus doesnt abandon sans. Mettaton did abandon *insert spoiler name here*
