how do i get on the raft?

The Muffet battle is pretty tough for me, so i decided to go back and get the dog residue for temmie. however, i can't seem to find the raft. am i ♥♥♥♥ed?

The riverperson? Go to the elevator, when in the elevator, go to "Left 1" and go all the way down, there you'll find the riverperson

No, the raft to go to the area where Undyne throws spears at you.

You shouldn't need to find that raft.

Find the riverman at the entrance to Hotland, and take his boat back to Waterfall.

If you already have the dog residue (which it sounds like you do), go up one screen (to the shopkeeper), right one screen (to the room with the hidden paths and the mushrooms), and down one screen to get to Temmie Village.

Actually I think you can ride to Waterfall with the Riverperson, then use the duck to take you back. Just go forward through the swamp and through Onionsan's room and you'll be at the puzzle that gives you the dog residue.
