is this game a far left SJW thing?

a friend keeps telling me to try this out but i have no real interest in it however another friend said its basically Gen Zed the game its just a SJW pandering thing

I walked into this thread with the intention of defending the game, not the OP. I never post to these threads for one simple reason- if the thread was made to get a rise out of the community, the only way to deal with it is to ignore it (something most people here don't yet grasp.) However, giving them the benefit of the doubt, they are still entitled to their opinion. If you disagree, that is your right as well- but do not prove their point if you disagree with what their point is. That doesn't make any sense.

i already stated that despite having nothing gainst gay's (some of my friends are gay...) i just dont like gay parings in video games (a lot of the time they seem forced) and my hatred of social trends simply because its the hip cool thing to do i PLAYED THE GAME

and you know what I DID NOT LIKE IT! i do not like the game play the story the premise or the mechanics i don't like the fact some furry told me not to kill things and to have a conversation with the monsters instead that just switched me right off its such a stupid element

With all due respect, the tagline of the game is literally "the RPG where nobody has to die".

I really can't say this game is SJW pandering, since the game also allows you to kill everybody. It does promote homosexuality in a positive light and does go into issues of people not being happy in who they are Likes the ghosts who want physical bodies but I wouldn't say it's pandering to SJW but rather just good rational morality.

And this is from a guy who really doesn't like SJW's since I think they are just too extreme and detract from any real meaningful debate or discussion. SJWs take sides too quickly and if anything are impulsive, too willing to attack without observing the evidence or even checking what they are doing is actually right... OMG Undyne is a SJW!

This game has gay people in it, but it doesn't try to make any statements with it. There's a few gay people, no one in-game comments on it. It would be SJW pandering if it had a big bad man who is against the gay peoplez and you had to prove him wrong and defeat him.

it has a lesbian couple, a gay couple, and numerous characters of ambiguous gender.

that's about it.

Two of the more important characters become a lesbian couple near the end of the good route, and one miniboss duo of two dude bros end up as an implied gay couple which is somewhat played off as a joke.

Then there's your main character who is ambiguously gendered . . . they have the option to go on two dates (one is required for the good ending). Neither of these dates actually go anywhere though (and in retrospect shouldn't even really be considered dates).
