But UNDERTALE's not a "brand." It's personal. I don't want to sell merch of it in Hot Topic or Target. That's just the way it is.

That's kinda sad to hear since I would've loved to buy all sorts of merchandise.

I think Toby is talking about those cash in action figures and legos that all big movies, shows and games seems to have.

Shame, I wanted a Lego ASGORE. Y'know, the one that's like humanoid and stuff?

It would be those kinds of companies will spam every Target with Undertale merchandise. But if that's TobyFox decision. Then I respect it.

I saw that. To be honest, the "manga" is super well done but no surprises since the one who drew it is a very talented artist. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't make sense at all.

And yeah, I know it's hentai. But some adult manga have decent stories too. Just... not this one.

But to be on topic. Fans make their own "merchandise", plushies and figurines. Toby doesn't want to make anything like that I guess. He's only a guy who made an amazing game. :P

That's a real shame. I would have loved a papyrus figurine. Just a small one. Commisions it is then. (he's okey with people commisioning others to make stuff for them) Going to a convention next month and i know there is a button maker there, i could commision some buttons at him.

hmm there is also a 3D printing/sculping artist in the other communities, maybe i can commision them and let him make a figure for me.

Most of these you can make yourself. Buy keyboard and mice and color it, or make stickers. making sticker's isn't that difficult.

I kinda wish that Toby would let people do what ZUN has done with the Touhou community. In the Touhou fandom, you can make anything from a game to a manga and ask for money, and ZUN wouldn't take any action against you. Though, he's been fairly rich with the series for a LONG time, so that probably helps...

I'd like to see fanwork getting sold. High quality works can come out of it.
