Undertale's TRUE hidden meaning?
After watching the Random Encounters Undertale Music Video [Fates of Undertale], I seem to have found the true meaning behind Undertale. It's about personal MORALITY.
YOU decide the fates of the characters in the game.
YOU are the one who chooses the Pacifist or Genocide runs.

The game is testing your morality, as well as your perseverance.
The game is testing to see if you are a good or bad person.
Am I wrong?

Feel free to tell me your thoughts on this in the comments.

Well it's an RPG so of course you choose the fates of characters and choose what type of person your character is. I wouldn't really consider it a test of any kinda because the only results you get are what's been prgramed into the game itself. It's a great game, but I don't think it has any more hidden meaning than most other RPG's.

I thought that perhaps it was personally testing each player, not just the charcters.

its about the players moral compass on FURRIES

but ye its META about the players agency. and very cutesy about it. fo1/2/new vegas have some fun pacifism but undertale is very cute about it.

It's about how we as gamers tackle a game and morality with it.

Imo it's about how players deal with the godlike feeling of being in complete control of the virtual worlds we play in, and on how we are brought to think that everything depends on us.
It's not a new concept but in this game it's applied to an actual story

Only 12 characters fall under this genre, 2 of which you encounter at the same time, and 2 you don't fight at all.

I don't think a pair of skeletons, a robot, an airplane, a miniature volcano, nor a combination of 7 or 8 different monsters count as 'furry.'
