*Typos are a tired mind worst enemies...
Hear me out, Flowey recognizes that you act strangely like Chara but that doesn't strictly mean that you are.
Flowey still call's you Chara and treat's you like like an old friend but keep in mind that they also do the same in the True Pacsifist Route BossFight.
Also, why would Chara ask for your soul if you weren't in control already?, I mainly believe that after you have killed everything that Chara is then awoken.
So it's mainly just Frisk killing Flowely themself.
the only way to beat Chara is to never do the evil things that would bring out Chara.
(the player) but then Chara take's your soul after you have completed your first Genocide Route, So basically Frisk/Chara both have the power to RESET the world but Chara having the ability to also destroy the timeline. All I know is that Frisk is basically sharing there body with Chara so WHO is in control anyway's...?
Probably both to be honest because Chara state's somewhere after you have already sold your soul, ruin another timeline and refuse to destroy it all asking If you thought you we're in any actual control and forcefully destroy's the timeline for you also If you complete a
True Pacifist Route after you have sold your soul, Chara show's up in you're body showing that Chara was with you the entire time.
